Welcome to our Osteria

One of the oldest osterias in Italy, our restaurant is deeply rooted in the history of the Modena countryside. The building was originally a Benedictine cell belonging to the Abbey of Nonantola and still preserves the charm of its original architecture, with exposed brick walls, sturdy wooden beams, and thick stone walls that have welcomed travellers and guests for centuries.

Our osteria features three intimate dining rooms with seating for up to 50 guests. During the warmer months, meals are also served under the vine-covered pergola, where you can enjoy lunch or dinner surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of our garden.

Our cuisine celebrates the authentic flavors of traditional Modenese cuisine. The menu features the classic dishes that have long defined our osteria, prepared with respect for local recipes and seasonal ingredients. Throughout the year, our chefs also create special dishes inspired by the freshest products available. To accommodate different dietary needs, we offer selected vegetarian options as well as dishes suitable for guests with gluten or lactose intolerances.
